Why Are Nails White At The Top

The top of the nail is more than likely white considering you can see the pigment of your skin through the bottom half of your nail.

An allergy to a nail polish gloss hardener or nail polish remover may cause white spots on your nails.
Healthy nails are colorless except for a pale white half moon shape at the bottom of the nail bed. When this happens it is known as punctate leukonychia. Don t worry this is completely normal.
